How do I apply?
The first step is to contact us to schedule a phone screening or interview. We will discuss your recovery history, current needs, and determine whether Journeys Georgetown Sober Home is a good fit.
No. There is no minimum or maximum length of stay. Residents are encouraged to remain as long as needed to build a strong foundation in recovery.
Rent includes a furnished home, utilities, TV, Computer, Printer, Wi-Fi, access to laundry, a structured recovery environment, peer support, and ongoing accountability.
Yes. Residents are subject to random drug and alcohol testing to help maintain a safe and sober living environment.
Yes. Residents are expected to actively participate in their recovery program, including regular recovery meetings and working with a sponsor.
Absolutely. Residents are expected to maintain employment, attend school, volunteer, or actively seek employment unless other arrangements have been approved.
Yes. Prescription medications (non-narcotic) are reviewed during the admission process. Please contact us if you have questions about your specific situation.
No. Journeys Georgetown Sober Home is an abstinence-based recovery residence and does not accept residents who are currently participating in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
As a sober living provider, we are not a medical or clinical treatment program and do not provide medical oversight or medication management. We believe it is important to remain within our scope of practice and provide the level of support and accountability our program is designed to offer. If our home is not the best fit for your current stage of recovery, we are happy to help connect you with other recovery resources that may better meet your needs.
Yes. After completion of the 30 day probationary period, overnight requests may be approved for residents who are in good standing and have demonstrated responsibility and accountability.
Yes. Visitors are permitted during approved visiting hours in accordance with house policies. Men are not allowed in the houses unless approved by management.
Approved pets are welcome at our Wagon Wheel home. A nonrefundable pet deposit and monthly pet rent apply.
Yes. All bedrooms and common areas are fully furnished.
Transportation is helpful but not always required. We encourage residents to discuss their transportation needs during the interview process.
Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
Our first priority is the safety of all residents. Each situation is evaluated individually, but the use of drugs or alcohol while residing in the home may result in immediate discharge in accordance with house policies.
